International assistance group: On behalf of the IAG Head Office team and Athens Assistance, our Assistance Partner in Greece, we would like to thank all of you for making the IAG Forum in Athens a successful conference! From November 9th to 11th, 2015- 97 participants, coming from 33 different countries gathered at the IAG Forum, our main event of the year, which was held in Athens, Greece. On September 2015, Rodrigo Canasi had to step down from his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IAG due to a new business development strategy at Iké Asistencia. We would like to welcome his brother, José F. Canasi, CEO at Iké Asistencia who now sits on the Supervisory Board of IAG. Mike Kelly, CEO at On Call International, has been appointed as Chairman of the IAG, until new elections take place on November 2016. We have been fortunate to have a large group of well known experts in their respective fields participate in our event. This group includes representatives from air ambulances, assistance companies, doctors, consultants, members of the IAG Supervisory Board, a journalist.

Their involvement resulted in successful forums, workshops, and roundtable sessions. Delegates could also visit the premises of Hygeia Hospital, recently accredited as Preferred Provider of IAG. Thank you Mr. Soras for organizing the visit. On the evening of November 9th we celebrated the IAG Welcome Cocktail at Première, the award winning rooftop of Athenaeum InterContinental Athens. This unique venue served to welcome our Core Partners, Assistance Partners & Preferred Providers alongside a stunning view of the Athenian skyline.

During the two days conference participants had the opportunity to discuss industry topics such as: “From quotes process to patient delivery, what are the challenges met by air ambulances with assistance alarm centers”, “a Preview of the new IAG Globus Database”, “Delivering assistance services in Iran”, “Return on Experience of Nepal Earthquake & Tunisia Attack”, and “The IAG capabilities & Set-up in the Middle East”, among others. We would like to to extend our sincere gratitude to Athens Assistance for hosting a wonderful Dinner & Award Ceremony at the Acropolis Museum Restaurant, preceded by a private tour of the Museum. Our hosts of the evening Will McAleer, President at WTP and Cécile Hermetz, General Manager at IAG presented the four Award Winners of the year:
