Assistance commenced for the first time in the 1960s. The pioneer of this business whom is now one of the world's leading Assistance Companies (Europ Assistance) in the world started the business on the basis of a simple plan providing assistance for French insured during their travel to Spain. The insured were not able to profit from their insurance outside their home town and simply said their insurance had no value in Spain.

Preliminary Assistance provided the insured with services and charged the Insurance Company for their services. Since then this industry has changed a lot and has become a major part of the insurance industry worldwide.

Assistance and "Insurance"

Insurance companies are financial companies and their main job is monetary compensation. In other words insurance is an agreement between the insurance company and the insured in which the insured pays an annual fee and in return obtains all or some of its loss by the insurance company. Iran assistance is not an insurance company; this company is responsible to present all the risks according to the countries existing laws to insurance companies.

Members of Iran assistance are under the insurance coverage of this company. Iran assistance members are under deputyship after signing the membership, so this was they benefit from insurance as well as a wide variety of services provided by this company.
